  • What is Modern QR?
    A secure & modern digital check-in system that streamlines check-ins for clients, keeps office overhead costs low and efficiency high.
  • What kind of office can Modern QR support?
    Any office that has a waiting room!
  • What equipment does my office need to integrate Modern QR?
    Nothing. Just a print out of the QR code on a sheet of paper. That’s it.
  • Do my clients have to download an app?
    Nope. They just need a smart phone with a functional camera on it.
  • Does Modern QR work on Android and iphone?
    Yes. It does not matter what IOP you have. As long as your clients have a camera and wifi on their device, they can check in by scanning the QR code.
  • How and where do I set up the QR code?
    We recommend printing out your unique QR code (in your Admin portal) and slide it in a frame and place it in a visible spot in your waiting room, on a console table or hang it on the wall!
  • Is the check-in form customizable?
    Yes, you can add your logo, branding colors, team member titles and turn off certain questions that don’t apply to your clinic.
  • How does the two way communication between client and team member work?
    If your team member has a crisis or they are delayed on a phone call with a school teacher, they can send a quick, automated message to the client informing them of their delay, all through our system. No clueless waiting for your client.
  • What if we already have Receptionist or front desk staff?
    Put her time and hours to better use than checking in clients! Leave the check-in to the automated Modern QR system, it will save you hundreds if not thousands of $$$$.
  • Why would I need the Dashboard feature?
    If you are interested in the value of data driven decision making as a business owner, this dashboard will definitely appeal to you! The best part of this dashboard is that we are continuously evolving it, so it will only get better and more robust.
  • What is the Mood Rating feature? Why would I need it?
    This is a really cool feature, but also an optional one. You can turn it off in your Admin portal if you don’t need it. It allows clinicians to track how clients feel at the beginning of an appointment compared to when they leave at the end of session. It helps track the general mood trends of your clients. This is especially great for practices that have interns/associates.
  • Is there a cap on how many team members I can add in the system?
    There is no cap! During our launch special, we are offering all features under one plan and we will lock in this rate for you so when our tiered pricing goes into effect, you still have a deal!
  • I’m a solo clinician, my client texts me directly when they arrive. Why would I need this?
    Many solo clinicians have their clients text them on their cell phones when they arrive, if that works for you and you don’t want any other business enhancing features or a professional office waiting room experience, then you’re fine! Modern QR isn’t ideal for you. BUT, if you are a solo clinician that wants to grow, if you want your clients to have a professional waiting room experience (do you ever text your doctor or nurse when you arrive for your appointment??!), if you want real time data to make important data-driven decisions about your practice, and you want to cut overhead costs as you grow, then you need a simple, efficient check-in system like Modern QR.
